In certain companies, the employees’ benefits were granted base on seniority. For instance, car parks allocation.

The officer in charge told me the car park allocation was sorted base on seniority. My question is “what is the definition of seniority?”

I asked this question to different people, surprisingly, I get different answers.

1. Base on position in the organization
2. Base on years of service in the organization
3. Base on age, generally.

I wonder does the Labor Law define the terms “seniority” or not, to ensure the fairness to all levels of employees.
